The Syrian/Lebanese piece of my identity inspired the name Yalla Vibes. Yalla as a slang word means Let’s Go in Arabic. To me, this represents my curiosity and the exploration and learning that happens when I go new places or try new things. I also love creating a vibe. The perfect playlist, the right lighting, a killer outfit, a new recipe, an energizing workout, etc.
My full-time home is in Denver, Colorado where I explore with my husband and daughter. I recently ended a ten-year career working at a University where I educated young minds and fueled my personal values for social justice and lifelong learning.
